This can destroy a Fall Renovation

If left unchecked, worm castings will destroy your fall renovation or over-seeding project! This is especially true for those whom enjoy the low cut turf. That one is definitely comfortable and much more durable than the $80-$150 chairs...BUT, if you are working in your chair a full 8hrs+ per day, DO NOT go with the soft, cushy leather chairs. Your back NEEDS (and I ain't joking) one of those ergonomic chairs. There are a LOT to choose from and you can get some good deals on them, but the difference between them and the Leather office chairs is ADJUSTABILITY. They support your back and help you sit upright in a good posture, WHILE WORKING. If you are watching a movie or playing a game, you can lean back a bit, but when working, you have to sit upright or you will have all kinds of neck and lower back pain, off and on. The WorkPro line is not a bad place to start looking.

    Looks good. I did something similar but I think I chose the wrong seed mix. Only thing that stands in spring are "clumps" of Bluegrass, which I guess was in the seed mixture. Everything looked like it was filling in as the germination happened, but Spring is a different story. perhaps the mix included an annual rye instead of perennial.

      I’m sorry. I’ve never had an issue with white flies on my tomatoes. I have had them on my brassicas and the only thing that worked was Sevin. I don’t typically use chemicals but neem oil wasn’t enough. I didn’t have to use much though so that was a relief.

    Question: If comfrey can be used as a poultice on the skin then why can’t it be ingested? This plant has been used as a “ knit bone” for centuries so I am not convinced that this plant is harmful.

    • @TurfTherapy
      @TurfTherapy 29 дней назад

      Your skin doesn’t have a liver. Also people make magical claims about this plant that I have seen little objective and substantial evidence of its abilities. If it was such an amazing plant with world changing effects I think big pharma would’ve synthesized it by know and made the plant impossible to be used. Just my opinion though…

    He has a 0.5 gallons per minute spray rate with that TeeJet tip. Most herbicides are rated 1000 sq ft per gallon, which works out to 2 minutes per gallon, 0.5 gpm flow rate, per 1,000 sq ft. He states he was going to do 1 gallon per 1,000 sq ft, 4 gallons on 4,000 sq ft, which is the correct application rate for most herbicides. Then he says he didn't want to come up short, so now I'm going to do 2000 sq ft on 4 gallons, giving me more time to do it. This is incorrect and he is doubling the application rate by applying 2 gallons per 1,000 sq ft. TeeJet tips are color coded according to the flow rate. Red is 4.9 gpm at 60 psi. They have a great online catalog with all the tips and flow rates.

    • @TurfTherapy

      Does using more volume carrier but maintaining the proper rate of product for the area being covered present an issue holistically?

    • @Kevin-mm6xm
      @Kevin-mm6xm Месяц назад

      @@TurfTherapy No, but the real question is why do it that way? Mix your proper rate applied 1 gallon to 1000 sq ft and you're assured of the best cost effective treatment in terms of time and money and the most accurate application rate per 1000 sq ft.

    • @TurfTherapy
      @TurfTherapy Месяц назад

      @Kevin-mm6xm well the reason would be to help build confidence and experience. Also some products perform better and/or recommend higher carry volumes. Just an option. I appreciate your opinion and feedback though. Thanks for watching the video!
